Al Sharif carried out the specialised handling and transportation of an 88-tonne Liebherr LHM 320 crane for Arabian Sugar Company at Khalifa Bin Salman Port (K.B.S.P.) in April 2011.

Our Solution

Al Sharif deployed a specialised multi-axle trailer and heavy-duty prime mover capable of handling the 88-tonne load.

The crane was carefully positioned to achieve balanced weight distribution across the trailer axles. Heavy-duty chains, supports and securing systems were used to prevent movement during transportation.

The entire operation was supervised by an experienced heavy-lift team to manage vehicle movement, clearances, stability and port-access requirements.

Project Result

The Liebherr LHM 320 crane was handled and transported successfully at K.B.S.P. without damage or operational disruption.
