Tatweer Heavy-Lift Transportation Project.
AIFS provided specialised heavy-lift and oversized transportation services for Tatweer’s industrial projects in Bahrain. Since 2010, AIFS has successfully handled and transported more than 100 heavy and oversized units, including compressors, coolers and vapour recovery units.

The project required detailed transport planning, suitable heavy-haul equipment and careful coordination to move large industrial units safely from the collection point to the project site.

Project Scope

The project scope included:

- Receiving and inspecting oversized industrial equipment
- Planning suitable transport routes
- Selecting the required multi-axle trailers and heavy-duty prime movers
- Loading, securing and transporting the equipment
- Coordinating with the client, site team and relevant authorities
- Managing safe movement through restricted and industrial areas
- Delivering and positioning the equipment at the designated project site

Our Solution

AIFS developed a customised transportation plan for each unit based on its dimensions, weight and delivery location.

Multi-axle modular trailers and heavy-duty tractor units were used to distribute the load safely and provide stability during transportation. All equipment was properly secured and protected before movement.

Our operations team coordinated route surveys, vehicle movements, safety procedures and site access to reduce risk and prevent unnecessary delays. Trained personnel supervised every stage, from loading and transportation to final delivery.

Project Result

AIFS successfully transported more than 100 heavy-lift and oversized units for Tatweer without compromising equipment safety or operational requirements.
